Welcome to a little peek into our world.

When we made the big move from Utah to Wyoming, one of the things we talked about as a family was how this change would open new doors for fun and creativity right here at home. We’d have more room to breathe—not just in terms of space, but also in our ability to invest in meaningful experiences for our kids. One of the promises we made was to build something just for them. A place where they—and their friends—could laugh, explore, and burn off all that energy in a space that felt entirely their own.

What We’ve Built

We’re excited to share that our backyard playground is now complete—and it’s already a huge hit! After lots of research, we found a Lifetime playground set that checked all the boxes:

• Easy access for our 3-year-old, with stairs instead of ladders
• A slide and swings—the must-haves our kids always loved at city parks
• Plenty of space for imaginative play and group fun

We also installed a trampoline, which the kids have been loving (and bouncing on non-stop)! It’s been the perfect addition, giving them even more ways to play, move, and make memories together.

Safety First (and Fun Always)

While we want this to be a place filled with joy and adventure, we’re also deeply committed to keeping things safe and respectful for everyone.

Because the area includes a trampoline and playground equipment, we ask that every child’s parent or guardian complete a waiver before their child plays.

The waiver covers:

• Acknowledgment of possible risks (scrapes, falls, bumps, etc.)
• Expectations around supervision (no unsupervised play)
• A clear list of playground and trampoline rules
• A release of liability for our family
• A photo/video policy with the option to opt out of facial inclusion

You can complete the waiver ahead of time through our online form. It only takes a minute and helps ensure that every child can safely join in the fun without delays.

This isn’t just about a playground—it’s about creating a home full of intention, joy, and connection. It’s about building a space where neighborhood friends become like family, where scraped knees turn into stories, and where childhood can stretch its legs and run wild.
